Dr. Edwin Ozawa received his PhD in medical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1996 and his MD from the University of Massachusetts in 1999. He completed anesthesia residency at the Massachusetts General Hospital in 2003. Following residency he came on staff at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington MA, where he has remained since. He currently serves on the Lahey Clinic Simulation Steering and Operations Committees, is chair of the Lahey Clinic Code Committee, and is a member of the New England Simulation and Education Research Consortium. His interests include IPE, code training, and OR team training for crisis management. He holds the rank of Assistant Clinical Professor at Tufts University Medical School, and also Commander, United States Navy Medical Corps.
