Dayna is responsible for the vision, strategy, and overall quality and sustainability for the Children’s Health System of Texas’ Simulation Program. Her healthcare career began as a Medical Service Specialist in the US Air Force and a certified anesthesia technician in civilian hospitals. With an academic background that includes an MBA and and MHA. Her work in simulation has ranged from working on certification, the dictionary, leading External Strategic Relations, and serving on the Board of Directors.
Interests: healthcare law/public policy and ethics, process and quality improvement, systems theory, technology, health equity and diversity and inclusion, communication theory, and education.
